New, nearly-new and used, N scale model railways, mainly in Swiss outline

We sell and buy at realistic prices - try us, you will not be disappointed!

Welcome to our website! A number of customers requested that we display pictures of items, so pictures you have! Details of how to use the website are found under FAQs, but if you have any problems, please contact us and we will try to help.

Because of Covid, we have not been attending shows as much as in the past; there have also been health issues among the staff. Keep an eye on our Next Shows tab, where you will find out when we next hope to have a stall. The International N-gauge Show is probably our next appearance.

NscaleCH was set up to satisfy the demands of those N-scale modellers who were looking for good Swiss models at an affordable price. We aim to maintain a high standard, and any defects found in our models are treated to a full repair treatment either by ourselves or a professional repairer. Over the years we have built up a substantial knowledge of the vagaries of the manufacturers' products, and can advise on the best models to suit your purpose.

Our trade-in offers are generous and rarely turned down: try us first, and we hope you will be delighted!

Footnote: there are several customers who paid deposits for the reluctantly aborted SBB Driving trailer project, who have not received refunds. If you wish to claim your refund, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to get the money to you.

The tool bar will take you to pages of items for sale. Click on the item for an individual view, then hover the mouse over the picture and it will allow you to see details in high magnification.
If you have a specific item in mind, click the magnifying glass icon, then type one relevant word into the bar, for example 'Re474'.
Click 'Buy item' then click the basket icon. Click 'checkout', fill in your details, and then there are currently four methods of payment:

Preferred: Pay by bank transfer (from UK or elsewhere) - details on payment page.

Pay by PayPal, clicking the PayPal button.

Pay by credit/debit card, either through PayPal, or by telephoning, when your details can be given over the phone.

Send a cheque to the address given (it is wise to send a message to say the cheque is on its way, to secure your order).

All items may be returned if they are defective. The item will either be repaired or replaced, and then returned at no further cost. If the item is found to be defective, your postal cost will be refunded. If the item is not found to be defective, or you have merely changed your mind, the postage costs will not be refunded.
We use the cheapest secure method of sending items. As all orders vary, there may be different carriers who are employed, depending on the weight and size of the order.
There are variations in price depending on condition, for example some items will show signs of wear (usually on the wheels), while others will be collectors' items, which have never left the show cabinet.
Used items can vary in quality of finish, so the items are displayed separately to allow you to make your choice from the photographs. If you want to know more about an item, simply email or ring to ask.
